Photosweeper instructions12/12/2023 ![]() ![]() This may be something which gets resolved in the background, because the "info" shown for the photos imported in Sept 2020 do show the same dates as in Google Photos. Do you have duplicate photos on your Mac Use PhotoSweeper to remove duplicates in your Photos app or in your Folders. All the "info" displayed regarding each newly imported photo shows yesterday's date, the date of the import, instead of the date from Google's metadata. I'm very happy with this, but there is one aspect which may be disappointing. I found that Google will export a maximum 500 photos, so I then exported them in batches, and imported each batch into Apple Photos. I told Google to export those 9,500 files, but nothing happened, not even an error message. ![]() I tediously selected all 9,500 photos added to Google since Sept 2020, the date of the previous import into Apple.
